Automate the busywork of time-off requests without removing the manager's decision. The agent checks the request against your leave policy, drafts a recommendation, and calls Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) so a manager approves, edits, or refuses before anything is finalized.

What this workflow does

1. timeOffRequest captures employee, dates, leave type, and balance
2. reviewTimeOffRequest checks the request against policy, drafts a recommendation, and requests human review before approving
3. notifyApprover posts the review link and summary to the People Ops channel on the HITL branch
4. reviewNotification returns the review URL while the run waits
5. finalDecision returns the approved, edited, or refused outcome after the run resumes

Setup

Connect an LLM credential in the agent and a Slack credential in notifyApprover. Run with the sample request, open the review URL from Slack, then accept, edit, or refuse to resume. HITL works with text-mode agent output, so keep JSON output disabled.
